Coral-friendly sunscreen project wins the school science fair

Forty projects were shown at this year's science fair. The winning Grade 10 team designed a simple test to check whether sunscreens harm coral larvae — a problem that matters to every island in Thaa Atoll.

The top three projects will represent the school at the regional science fair in January.
